Speakers: Jim and Beth Luebe
Jim and Beth serve on The Navigators’ New York City Staff team focusing on reaching and discipling millennials. Previously, they lived in Colorado Springs where, initially they led the EDGE Corps followed by Jim serving as the U.S. Collegiate Director. Beth gave leadership to the Collegiate Navigators missionary sending efforts (iEDGE). They have been involved in personal disciplemaking for over 35 years.
Beth is a Registered Nurse and serves as a volunteer with the New York City Medical Reserve Corps. They are seeking to spiritually influence First Responders, businessmen/women, actors/actresses, models, and local churches. They are also involved in encouraging and training Navigator staff in NYC.
Jim and Beth led the UNI Navigators ministry from 1994-2004. During this time they started the Main Event Conference (in the fall of 1995) and led it each year through 2004. It is a special joy for them to return at this time. Over the years they have seen hundreds of student’s lives impacted for Christ at Main Event and are praying that God works in the lives of many more students this year!
Speaker: Mark Luebe
Jim and Beth are the parents of three adult sons, two daughters–in-law and have one grandson (and another coming soon)! It is a special honor for them to share the speaking responsibilities at Main Event with their youngest son, Mark Luebe. Mark was involved with the Navigators at CU Boulder while he studied Communication and minored in Philosophy. He now works as Pastor of High School Ministries at Calvary Bible Church in Boulder and is seeking to make disciples. The Luebes are passionate about seeing men and women grasp the truths of the Gospel and believe that God can use simple, ordinary people to accomplish His purposes in our world.
